Settings panel (Manual mode)

How CMS for Harmony widget settings panels work in the editor — overview home and drill-down screens in app v17+, and accordion sections before v17.

v17+ overview home

In Manual mode, most display widgets open an overview first instead of a long stack of accordions.

  1. Select the widget → Settings.
  2. At the top, choose AI setup or Manual (same as before).
  3. In Manual, you land on the overview home:
    • SETUP — tap a row to drill in (breadcrumb back to overview). Examples: Content, Search, filters, & sort, Design, Layout, Formatting.
    • FEATURES — optional capabilities with a toggle on the overview row. Turn a feature on, then open the row to configure it (Quick view, Dynamic page, Payments, Data refresh, multi-step Form, Contacts, and similar).
    • ADVANCED — drill rows such as Mobile and Access (Pro).

Drill screens use the same controls as before; they are grouped and easier to scan. Repeater also includes Search settings on the overview home to jump to a control by name.

First-time guided setup

New display widgets can run a short setup wizard before the overview. See Guided setup wizard for when it appears, what each step does, and how to skip it.

Before v17 (accordion panel)

In older app versions, Manual mode lists accordion sections in one scroll (Content, Search & filters, Quick view, and so on). Expand a section to edit; there is no overview home or feature toggles on the list.

Section names and controls are the same as in the guides, but Search & filters and Sort options may appear as separate areas instead of a single Search, filters, & sort drill row.

AI setup (all supported versions)

AI setup is unchanged at the top of the panel. In v17+, after you describe what you want, Review the plan lists grouped steps — use Apply N steps (or apply selected steps) before changes hit the canvas. After apply, open Manual for the overview or drill into any row.

See AI setup.
