The settings panel, reimagined

v17 is a major editor refresh: Manual settings panels look and flow differently on Table, Repeater, Slideshow, Media Gallery, Calendar, Dynamic Page, and Form. Your widget configuration on the site is unchanged — open Settings to explore the new overview, wizard, and AI plan review.

• Settings panel — A whole new look: scannable overview home, tap-in drill screens, and feature toggles right on the list — less scrolling, clearer grouping on every display widget and Form

Relative filter timezones

• Search & filters — Relative Choose value date filters: Date boundaries — Visitor's device (default), Site timezone (Wix site settings), or Fixed timezone (IANA dropdown); panel shows a live preview of the effective range
• Search & filters — Site timezone mode uses your Wix site time zone so every visitor sees the same midnight cutoff (including daylight saving changes)

CMS Assistant & visitor sort

• CMS Assistant — built-in dashboard page (Pro): analyze collections with a health score, findings, inventory, and zoomable structure diagram; run a security audit with a permission matrix and fixes; plan new collections from a description or CSV, refine the structure, and create collections on the site (optional sample items)
• Collections — Create collection wizard: blank collection, CSV import with column types and row import, Create with AI (suggest fields and optional sample rows for one collection), or Plan with AI (opens CMS Assistant for multi-collection plans)
• Search & filters — Sort options on Table, Repeater, Calendar, Media Gallery, Slideshow, and Harmony Repeater: visitors pick field and direction on the live site; sorts combine in list order (Wix CMS sources)
• Dashboard home — CMS planning and analysis live in the app; the separate CMS Assistant App Market install card is removed

• Catalog payments — Add to cart and Buy now show a loading spinner while checkout is in progress

/item item pages — we’re back!

After v14 steered new setups to native Wix collection pages, we heard from sites where More actions → Add collection page fails or native dynamic pages error. v16 brings back the app /item Site Page path and Make dynamic as the fallback. Native collection pages are still recommended when they work. The app does not auto-add an /item page on install.

• CMS Collections — Make dynamic is back: Set up /item item page adds the Dynamic page slug field and URL plugins when native item pages are not reliable on your site
• Widget panels — Set up /item item page and Edit /item item page on Dynamic Page, Repeater, Table, Slideshow, Media Gallery, and Calendar under Link to item page
• Dynamic pages — native collection pages stay recommended; docs cover the /item Site Page alternative and its trade-offs

Bug fixes & improvements

• Existing /item pages — Page path item (or item-1, …) and Dynamic page slug settings from before v14 still work

Content access (Pro)

v15.0 adds Pro Content access on Table, Repeater, and Dynamic Page. Major App Market updates are manual and one-way: once you upgrade, you can’t roll back to an earlier version.

• Access — on Table, Repeater, and Dynamic Page, restrict the live site by signed-in members or Pricing Plan holders; protect the whole widget or individual items with fixed rules
• When inaccessible — custom message (font/color), optional button (member login or link), and button design pickers

Relative date filters

• Search & filters — Choose value on DATE and DATETIME fields can use a relative range (Today, Next 7 days, Next 30 days, This calendar week, This calendar month) instead of fixed dates
• This calendar week — pick any weekday for Week starts on (for example Friday–Thursday event weeks)

Native Wix dynamic pages

New item pages are native Wix collection pages. The app no longer adds an /item Site Page, and Make dynamic has been removed. Dynamic Page widgets and item links already on a site keep working.

• Dynamic pages — create item pages with More actions → Add collection page, then place the Dynamic Page widget and set Page path and Item slug
• Make dynamic removed from the Collections dashboard and widget panels — native collection pages store slugs in Item slug. Existing Dynamic page slug fields keep working

Form autosave and image card backgrounds

• Form — Autosave: save as visitors type. Members resume a collection draft; others keep a draft in this browser until submit
• Repeater — Card background: solid color, or an image or video from a collection field on each card (fit, focus, and fallback color)
• AI setup — after each result, What changed lists applied settings and Not changed lists requests to finish in the Settings tab
• Settings panels — a star rating below 5 opens the feedback form with that rating already selected

• Dynamic Page & item links — item URLs resolve from the site address in Harmony Preview, including native Wix dynamic pages

Add advanced collection fields on Harmony

• Collections — Add field from the dashboard: create Media Gallery, Video, Address, Color, Reference, Tags, and other types Harmony’s native picker does not offer

Form multi-step, conditionals & AI schema create

Clear optional Form contact fields

• Form — Contacts: clear optional field mappings (Phone, name, company, and more) with the X next to the dropdown; clearing an Add field (contact) mapping also removes that form-only field

v5.0 adds a small “powered by CMS for Harmony” watermark on published widgets for sites on the free Basic plan. Supporter removes watermarks and helps support the team. If you don’t update to v5.0, nothing changes — your site keeps working as it does today. Updating is one-way: once you upgrade, you can’t roll back to an earlier version.

• Form — phone number field with country dial code picker; validates input and saves numbers in international (E.164) format
