You can connect Google Sheets to a Wix Harmony (or Classic/Studio) site without code using CMS for Harmony Pro External databases. After you connect a spreadsheet in the dashboard, set a widget’s Data source to External Database and map columns like CMS fields. Supported widgets: Table, Repeater, Slideshow, Media Gallery, and Calendar. Form, Dynamic Page, item page links, and catalog payments stay on Wix CMS collections—not sheet connections.

Step 1 — Upgrade to Pro (if needed)
External Database is a Pro feature. Open the CMS for Harmony dashboard or a widget panel; if you see Upgrade to Pro, complete upgrade before connecting.
Step 2 — Connect a sheet in the dashboard
Open External databases → Connect external database (Google Sheets):
- Pick a connect method:
- Share with app — share the sheet with the app email as Viewer (no Google sign-in).
- Public link — spreadsheet shared as “Anyone with the link can view”.
- Sign in with Google — authorize your Google account (may show an unverified-app warning until Google verifies the app).
- Choose the spreadsheet and sheet (tab), or paste a sheet URL for Share with app / Public link.
- Choose which columns to sync and confirm field types.
- Save. The connection appears with status and synced column count.
Later: Manage fields, Resync columns, open the sheet in Google, or disconnect.
Step 3 — Use the sheet in a widget
- Add Table, Repeater, Slideshow, Media Gallery, or Calendar.
- In the panel, set Data source to External Database (Pro).
- Select your connection—or Connect new database to open the dashboard flow and return with it selected.
- Map fields (columns, card content, media, dates, and so on).
- Optionally enable search & filters where the widget already supports them.
- Publish.
Notes and limitations
- First row = headers; empty header cells are skipped.
- After Resync, review field types if you renamed or added columns.
- Sheet-backed widgets can still use search/filters where those widgets already do.
- Row clicks to Dynamic Pages are not available for Google Sheets.
- Keep Wix CMS collections when you need Forms, Dynamic Pages and item page links, or catalog payments.
